FOR RURAL PROSPERITY (NVA)
Current Status
As on today, Jamsetji Tata National Virtual Academy for Rural Prosperity (NVA) has set up 13 Village Resource Centers (VRCs) and 72 Village Knowledge Centers in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Maharashtra, Orissa and Rajasthan with the generous support of several International and National agencies / organizations.
Indian Space Research Organization has generously provided satellite connectivity for all the VRCs and also spatial database for VRCs and VKCs.
Apart from each VRC, the Chennai VRC has been organizing several training programmes and linkages with many institutions for content generation and dissemination.
